Check out Leeland's new cd "Opposite Way"...releases this tuesday the 26th.
Don't you wish sometimes we had an easy button to push in life. The truth is life is hard...there are difficult things that happen to us all the time and how we respond shows a lot about where we are in our relationship with Christ. Next time something tough happens, don't look for the easy button but ask God what he wants to do in the situation. Remember...God is good all the time!
Wednesday night we began a new series called "Scarred". We are looking at the scars we have in our life...not so much physical, but emotional and relational. We are looking at the scars we have on our heart and our soul. With most of the physical scars we have there is a story behind it, the same is true with our emotional and relational scars. We began by understanding that it is important to admit that we have pain in our past and because of those pains, we are being effected by them even today. I tried to express that I know that they hurt....because I hurt...because our other adults hurt. Click on the pics below to read their scar stories. This is also an opportunity to share your scars. Leave a comment....share what scars you have from your past. This can be done totally anonymously.

Do you have the reminders of what has happened in your past: the scars of a broken home, the loss of a family member or a good friend, the struggle with depression, an eating disorder, scars from cutting yourself, an abusive relationships or hurtful words spoken to you from someone you love? We all have scars from the pains in our past. Join us at the Gathering this wednesday @ 7 pm as we begin our new series called "Scarred". We will look at the pains in our past and the pains we are going through today. What can God do to bring healing to our pains and what does he what to do with our scars?

What a great dream...has it come true yet...has it come true in your life?
