theGathering: Back to School Event

A month of Abiding

During the month of August, we will be abiding here at Trinity Church. We are trying to take Jesus at his word and we understand that we can do nothing without him. So in the month of August we will not have our Gathering on Wednesdays. We will take this time to spend with our families, rest, read, and listen to God. We have a great team of adults who work with your students on Wednesday nights and I want them to have a period of time off so we will all be ready to do what God has called us to in the fall. I would encourage you to take Wednesdays and spend them as a family: eat dinner together, go hiking, watch a movie, volunteer somewhere, etc.

Thanks for allowing us to invest in your student. I look forward to this next school year and what God has in store for all of us.

theGathering Plunge

Next Friday we will meet from 6:30 - 8:30 on the field behind Trinity. We will have a large slip and slide, a shaving cream fight and other games. Please bring at least one can of shaving cream (not the gel kind) and wear old clothes. Girls please NO tank tops or white shirts. Watch the video from last year to get an idea of what we will be doing...you don't want to miss it!
