Sex sells. Sex tempts. Sex lies. Sex glorifies. SEX is all around us: TV, movies, music, magazines, at school, at work and in conversations. Most of what we see is not the truth! So what do we do? We can not talk about it and hope it goes away or we can confront it and seek the truth. Satans SEXed is going to take a look at the lies Satan tells us about Sex and relationships and what God says about it! Satan SEXed begins November 7th at the gathering!

Love With Action Update

As we left the church parking lot I began praying, "Please God use us!" God truly answered my prayer. Friday night was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had has a youth pastor. We returned home Friday night after handing out over 300 pairs of socks and 200 pairs of underwear. There are many stories that could be told about our night: from the married couple who sat by the savvis center just wearing socks, which had been turned inside out; to the 20 year old young man who lives in the salvation army hotel at 18th and pine and attends Flo Valley each day trying to receive a degree; to the many people we helped at the park at 14th and locust. I am for some reason still amazed each time God uses me. I am brought back to that simple prayer I prayed pulling out of the parking lot, "Please God use us!" That is my prayer for me, our students and our church. We are now collecting coats...please partner with us again as we attempt to be the church!

Love With Action Tonight

Dear Jesus, help me to spread Thy fragrance everywhere I go. Flood my soul with Thy spirit and love. Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly that all my life may only be a radiance of Thine. Shine through me and be so in me that every soul I come in contact with may feel Thy presence in my soul. Let them look up and see no longer me but only Jesus. Stay with me and then I shall begin to shine as you shine, so to shine as to be a light to others.

This Friday Night.....

We will be heading out into the city of St. Louis to put our love into action. We have collected 344 pairs of socks and 249 pairs of underwear. Come with us as we pass these out to those who need them. Show up at Trinity at 6:30 pm and we will return at 10 pm. Please bring a backpack if you have one.

1 John 3:18 says, "Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions."
